Manual override buttons
Your EATC has six bu ttons which allow you to make special
selections. The bu ttons are located along the bottom edge of the
EATC Control and allow you to determ ine where the air will be
discharged . Pressing any overrid e bu tton changes the air
discharge location only. It does not affect the ability of the
system to control tem peratu re or the fan speed . Retu rn to fully
au tom atic operation by pushing the AUTOMATIC bu tton.
MAX A/C Button
MAX A/ C allow s for faster cooling becau se air is draw n from
insid e the vehicle. Using insid e air cau ses the fan to sou nd
lou der which is norm al for this selection. The display wind ow
will change to ind icate 60˚F (16˚C) and MAX A/ C. The fan will
ru n at high speed and the air flow will be from the instru ment
panel registers. To exit and retu rn to the previou s tem peratu re,
push AUTOMATIC or any of the other 5 overrid e bu ttons.
