Important Safety Belt Information
The use of safety belts help s to restrain you and you r
passengers in case of a collision. In most states and in Canad a
the law requ ires their use.
Safety belts provid e best restraint when:

the seatback is upright
the occupant is sitting upright (not slou ched )
the lap belt is snu g and low on the hip s
the shou lder belt is snu g against the chest
the knees are straight forw ard
To help you rem ember to fasten you r safety belt, a warning

Make sure that you and you r passen gers wear safety
belts. Alw ays drive and rid e with you r seatb ack uprigh t
and the lap belt snug and low across the hips.
RWARN ING
Never let a passen ger hold a child on his or her lap
while the veh icle is movin g. The passen ger cannot
protect the child from injury in a collision .
