Autolock (With automatic transmission vehicles only)
The Au tolock featu re is part of you r rem ote keyless entry
system and is enabled at the factory. With the Au tolock featu re
enabled , all of the doors will au tom atically lock when:
■
the vehicle doors, liftgate and liftgate wind ow are fully
closed
■
■
■
■
the ignition key is tu rned to the ON position
the brake pedal is pressed
you shift throu gh (Reverse)
the brake pedal is released
The Au tolock featu re will rep eat when:
■
a door is opened and then all doors, liftgate and liftgate
wind ow are closed
■
the brake pedal is released
You can deactivate the system by using the bu ttons for the
keyless entry system if you don’t want to use the Au tolock
featu re.
The doors may not lock au tom atically at the correct tim e if the
driver:

shifts throu gh gears withou t pressing the brake
shifts throu gh gears qu ickly after starting the vehicle
releases their foot from the brake while som eone has step ped
ou t of the vehicle for a mom ent
To deactivate the Au tolock system :
1.
Enter you r perm anent five-d igit entry cod e (not the personal
cod e you may have set).
2.
Within 5 second s, press and hold 7/ 8.
