Protect cassettes from exp osu re to direct sunlight, high
hu midity and extrem e heat or cold . If they are exp osed to
extrem e cond itions, allow them to reach a mod erate
tem peratu re before playing.

If a tap e is loose insid e the cassette, tighten it before playing
by putting you r finger or a pencil into one of the holes and
tu rning the hu b until the tap e is tight.
Loose labels on cassette tap es can becom e lod ged in the
mechanism . Remove any loose label material before inserting
a cassette.
Do not leave a tap e in the cassette tap e player when not in
use. High heat in the vehicle can cau se the cassette to warp .
Clock Operation
How to view the clock mode
Press the “CLK” bu tton to display tim e. The tim e will continu e
to be displayed until a rad io or tap e function is chosen. After
ap proxim ately 10 second s, the tim e will again ap pear in the
display. To display rad io or tap e inform ation only, press the
“
CLK” bu tton a second tim e.
NOTE: The clock can be disp layed or set wheth er the ign ition
is on or off as lon g as the “CLK” button is depressed .
How to set the clock

Turn the rad io on.
Press and hold the “CLK” bu tton, press the right (a) sid e of
the “SEEK” bu tton to increase hou rs. Press the left (b) sid e
of the bu tton to decrease hou rs. Press the right (a) sid e of
the “TUN E” or “TUN E DISCS” bu tton to increase minu tes.
Press the left (b) sid e of the bu tton to decrease minu tes.
NOTE: The clock disp lays 12-hour tim e with no AM/PM
indication s.
