Rear Lap Belt with Retractor
Pu ll the belt ou t of the retractor with a stead y motion and insert
the tongu e into the prop er bu ckle until you hear a snap and
feel the latch engage.
Fastening and unfa stening the rear center safety belt s (4-door model)
To Unfasten the Safety Belts with Retractors:
1.
Pu sh the release bu tton on the bu ckle. This allow s the
tongu e to unlatch from the bu ckle.
2.
While the belt retracts, gu ide the tongu e to its stow ed
position. If you do not gu ide the tongu e, it may strike you
or part of the vehicle.
Safety Belt Extension Assembly
For som e peop le, the safety belt may be too short even when it
is fully extend ed. You can ad d abou t eight inches (20 cm) to the
belt length with a safety belt extension assem bly (part nu mber
611C22).
Safety belt extensions are available at no cost from
you r dealer.
