Using the “MEMORY ” button
Push the “MEMORY” bu tton to access the station you have set
into memory bu tton 1 on the face of the rad io. Successively
pushing this bu tton will access, nu merically, all stations set into
the Station Mem ory Preset bu ttons (1 throu gh 6).
How to turn the speakers on and off
When the rear seat controls are on, push the “SPKRS ON -OFF”
bu tton to tu rn all speakers off. Pu sh again to tu rn all speakers
on.
Using the “SEEK” function
Press the right (a) sid e of the “SEEK” rocker switch to seek to
the next highest rad io station. Press the left (b) sid e to seek to
the next low er rad io station.
NOTE: When usin g the rear seat controls, the “SEEK”
function on the rear seat controls will also function
with cassettes or CD, seek ing the next (“SEEK a”) or
previou s (“b SEEK”) selection .
Using headphones with the rear seat controls
Two 3.5mm head phone jacks have been provid ed on the rear
seat controls. Plu g head phones (not provid ed) into the provid ed
jack(s) to operate head phones.
Tips on Caring for the Cassette Player and Tapes
In ord er to keep you r cassette tap e player perform ing the way it
was meant to, read and follow these sim ple precau tions:

Using a Ford Cassette Cleaning Cartrid ge to clean the tap e
player head after 10-12 hou rs of play will help maintain the
best playback sou nd and prop er tap e operation.

Only cassettes that are 90 minu tes long or less shou ld be
used . Tap es longer than 90 minu tes are thinner and subject
to breakage or may jam the tap e player mechanism .
