When possible, we design parts — such as the head lam p
bu lbs — that can be rep laced withou t tools.
We give you a Maintenance Sched ule that makes tracking
rou tine service for you r vehicle easy. The maintenance
sched ule is located in the Maintenance Schedule and Record
booklet.
This chap ter tells you abou t the basic parts that you need to
check and service regu larly.
If you r vehicle need s professional servicing, you r dealership can
provid e the parts and service requ ired . Check you r Warranty
Information Booklet to find out which parts and services are
covered . Also see the Customer Assistance chap ter of this Ow ner
Guide.
Ford Motor Com pany recom mend s that the Ow ner Maintenance
Checks listed in the Maintenance Schedule and Record booklet be
perform ed for the prop er operation of you r vehicle. In ad dition
to the cond itions listed in the Owner Maintenance Checklist, be
alert for any unu sual noise, vibration, or other ind ication that
you r vehicle may need service. If you do notice som ething
unu sual, see that you r vehicle is serviced prom ptly.
