To change the tem peratu re in the display wind ow , select any
tem peratu re betw een 65˚F (18˚C) and 85˚F (29˚C) using the
BLUE (cooler) or RED (warm er) bu ttons. The Electronic
Au tom atic Temperatu re Control will do the rest.
To change the tem peratu re disp lay from ˚F to ˚C or from ˚C to
˚F, press and hold the MAX A/ C and the DEF V bu ttons at
the sam e tim e for one second .
If you want continu ous maxim um cooling, push the BLUE
bu tton until 60˚F (16˚C) is show n in the display wind ow . Your
EATC will cool at maxim um and disregard the 60˚F (16˚C)
setting until you select a warm er tem peratu re with the RED
bu tton. If you want continu ous maxim um heating, push the
RED bu tton until 90˚F (32˚C) is show n in the display wind ow .
Your EATC will provid e maxim um heat regard less of the 90˚F
(32˚C)
setting until you select a cooler tem peratu re with the
BLUE bu tton.
The display wind ow tells you how the system is operating. It
will ind icate the selected tem peratu re and the operating function
you have chosen; AUTO or one of the six manu al overrid es. It
will also ind icate manu al (thu mbw heel) control of the fan speed
with the
sym bol. The display wind ow with all possible

displays and their positions are show n here. Norm ally not all
are show n at the sam e tim e bu t are inclu ded here to fam iliarize
you with the nam es and sym bols.
