Tires
Look at you r tires each tim e you fill you r fuel tank. If one tire
looks low er than the others, check the pressu re in all of them .
Alw ays follow these precau tions:

Keep you r tires inflated to the recom mend ed pressu res.
Stay within the recom mend ed load limits (see Load limits in
the Ind ex).

Make sure the weight of you r load is evenly distribu ted .
Drive at safe speed s.
If you do not take these precau tions, you r tires may fail or go
flat.

RWARN ING
Drivin g too fast for condition s creates the possib ility of
loss of veh icle control. Drivin g at very high speed s for
exten ded period s of tim e may resu lt in damage to veh icle
components.
At least once a month, check the pressu re in all you r vehicle’s
tires, inclu ding the spare. Use an accu rate tire pressu re gau ge.
Check the tire pressu re when tires are cold , that is, after the
vehicle has been parked for at least one hou r or has been
driven less than 3 miles (5 km ). You can find the prop er cold
pressu re on the Safety Com pliance Certification Label.
RWARN ING
Improp erly inflated tires can affect veh icle handlin g and
can fail suddenly, possib ly resu ltin g in loss of veh icle
control.
