If the child is sleep ing or tries to get out of the child seat,
pull shou lder belts fully ou t to put the retractor into the lock
mod e. At this tim e, the shou lder belts are in an au tom atic
lock mod e. Allow belts to tighten snu gly against the child ’s
shou lders. The belt will au tom atically lock and cannot be
pulled ou t. Refer to Figu re 13.
