To avoid injury, never run the engin e with one wheel off
the grou nd, such as when changin g a tire.
Tire Rotation
Because you r vehicle’s front and rear tires perform different
jobs, they often wear differently. To make sure you r tires wear
evenly and last longer, rotate them at the mileage show n in the
Maintenance Schedule and Record booklet which cam e with you r
vehicle.
Rotate the tires accord ing to the follow ing diagram . If you
notice that the tires wear unevenly, have them checked . If you r
light tru ck has a tem porary spare tire, do not inclu de it in the
tire rotation pattern.
In situ ations where the tires differ from front to rear
(snow / traction), sim ply rotate using a sid e to sid e pattern.
