The main controls for the climate control system , lights, message
center, lam ps, clocks and rad io are on the instru ment panel.
NOTE: Any clean er or polish that increases the gloss (shine)
of the upper part of the instru ment panel should be
avoid ed. The dull fin ish in this area is to help protect
the driver from undesirab le windshield reflection .
The Climate Control Systems
Your vehicle is equ ipped with a control assem bly designed to
hand le either a com bination A/ C-H eater System or a
Heater-Only System .
Instrument Panel Registers
There are four registers in the instru ment panel. Each of these
registers contains a lou ver assem bly which can be manu ally
ad justed to direct airflow up, dow n, left and right. An
illustration of the register locations follow s.

Air Conditioning (A/C) Controls (Manual Air
Conditioning)
The control for you r air cond itioning and heater system is
located at the center of the instru ment panel below the rad io
and will operate only when the ignition key is tu rned to the
ON position. Your air cond itioner and heater will heat and / or
cool you r vehicle interior depend ing on the function position
