Using the Keyless Entry System (If equipped)
If you r vehicle has the keyless entry system , you can lock or
unlock the vehicle doors withou t using a key. The bu ttons for
the system are near the ou tsid e door hand le on the driver’s
sid e. See also Remote Entry System which follow s this
descrip tion.
Keyless entry but tons
When you bou ght you r vehicle, you were given a com puter
cod e that operates the system for you r vehicle. For you r
convenience, we have duplicated this cod e in tw o places.
The cod e is:

on you r ow ner’s wallet card found in the glove com partm ent
tap ed to the com puter mod ule
When you use this entry system , the illuminated entry system
tu rns on the interior lights for 25 second s and the bu ttons on
the keyp ad light up for 5 second s. Do not push the bu ttons
with a key, ballp oint pen, pencil or any other hard object. These
objects could dam age the bu ttons.
