Pu ll the  lap   belt  portion   across  the   child  seat  tow ard   the
bu ckle and   pull  up   on  the  shou lder   belt  while  pushing    dow n
on  the  child   seat.
Removing  sla ck  from  the belt

Allow  the   safety  belt  to  retract   to  rem ove  any  slack   in  the
belt.
9.
Before  placing   the  child  in  the   seat,  forcibly  tilt  the   seat
forw ard  and   back  to  make   sure  the  seat   is secu rely  held   in
place.
