Tilt Slide Seat (If equipped)
2 door models only
With the front seatback tilted forw ard , the tilt slid e seat can be
moved to provid e ad ditional entry space to access the rear seat
com partm ent of the vehicle.
To operate the tilt slid e seat:
1.
Lift the seatback release lever on the ou tboard sid e of the
seat cushion to unlock the slid e mechanism and seatback.
2.
Pu sh the seat assem bly forw ard to provid e entry space to the
rear seat com partm ent of the vehicle.
RWARN ING
Do not place objects behind or under the fron t seat
which can preven t the seat from retu rning to the lock ed
position .
3.
With the seatback still forw ard , using the seat cushion push
the seat rearw ard to the desired position and retu rn the
seatback to its upright position. This will lock the seat track.
NOTE: Whenever the seatb ack is retu rned to the uprigh t
position , the seat will lock in that seat position .
NOTE: The seat can no lon ger be moved rearw ard when in
its latch ed position .
