VENT Button
Pu sh this bu tton to select outsid e air throu gh the instru ment
panel registers. The display wind ow will show the set
tem peratu re and VENT to the low er right of the tem peratu re.
Your EATC will heat the air if the tem peratu re you have
selected is warm er than the outsid e air com ing into the vehicle.
How ever, the air will NOT be cooled regard less of the
tem peratu re setting. Airflow will be from the instru ment panel
registers.
PNL & FLR Button
Pu sh this bu tton to get air from the floor and instru ment panel
registers at the sam e tim e. The display will show the set
tem peratu re and the word s PN L and FLR. Dep end ing on the
selected tem peratu re, the air will be au tom atically heated or
cooled .
FLOOR Button
Airflow will be to the floor when the FLOOR bu tton is pressed .
The display wind ow will show the set tem peratu re and FLR to
the left of the tem peratu re. The air cannot be cooled in the
FLOOR position, only heated . Fan speed will be au tom atic
unless manu ally controlled . If you overrid e the fan speed and
wish to retu rn to au tom atic fan control, push AUTOMATIC.
Then, again select FLOOR for airflow to the floor.
FLR & DEF Button
Pu sh this bu tton to get air to the floor and wind shield
defrosters at the sam e tim e. The display will show the set
tem peratu re, FLR and V sym bol to ind icate FLR & DEF has
been selected . If the outsid e tem peratu re is abou t 50˚F (10˚C) or
warm er, the air will be dehu midified to rem ove moistu re. This
will help to prevent fogging in hu mid weather.
