Fasten both halves of the chest clip below the child ’s
shou lders and ad just the clip (up or dow n) to com fortably
hold the shou lder belts in place on the child ’s chest. The
ind icator on the chest clip will show green when the clip is
latched . (The purp ose of this clip is to position the shou lder
belts correctly on the child ’s shou lders.) The clip can be
easily pulled ap art and is designed to pull ap art during a
collision. The clip will help keep the shou lder belts on the
shou lders of a sleep ing or squ irm ing child . Refer to Figu res
