How to Use Built-In Child Safety Seat
Read the follow ing proced ures and all of the labels on the
Built-In Child Seat before using the seat. Refer to Figu res 1
throu gh 14.
RWARN ING
Never use the Built-In Child Seat as a booster cushion
with the adult lap belt. The five-p oin t belt harn ess of the
Built-In Seat provid es much more secu re restrain t than a
lap belt. Child ren who are the prop er size to use the
Built-In Child Seat should use the five-p oin t belts.
Child ren who sit in the righ t rear seat but are too large
to use the Built-In Child Seat should use the lap /sh oulder
belt, but should sit on the seat cushion rath er than on the
built-in seat.
