luggage to you r veh icle, do not exceed the total
weigh t capacity of the veh icle or of the fron t or rear
axle (GVWR, GAWR as shown on the Safety
Com plian ce Certification Label). Con sult you r dealer
for specific weigh t inform ation .
NOTE: The Federal Com munication s Com mission (FCC) or
the Can adian Rad io Telecom munication s Com mission
(CRTC) regu lates the use of mobile communication s
system s — such as two-way rad ios, telep hones, and
theft alarm s — that are equipped with rad io
tran smitters. Any such equipment installed in you r
veh icle should comply with FCC or CRTC regu lation s
and should be installed only by a qualified tech nician .
NOTE: Mobile communication s system s may harm the
operation of you r veh icle, particu larly if they are not
prop erly design ed for autom otive use or are not
prop erly installed . For exam ple, when operated , such
system s may cause the engin e to stu mble or stall. In
addition , such system s may themselves be damaged or
their operation affected by operatin g you r veh icle.
(Citizen s band [CB] tran sceivers, garage door openers,
and oth er tran smitters whose power output is 5 watts
or less will not ord inarily affect you r veh icle’s
operation .)
