Electronic Sound Systems
Using the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Feature
Push the “DSP” bu tton to activate the featu re. The disp lay will
ind icate which signal mod e is in effect. To change the signal
mod e press either the left (b) or right (a) sid e of the selector
bu tton (located und er the “DSP” bu tton).
The follow ing signal mod es may be selected :

“HALL” — Rectangu lar concert hall cap acity of abou t 2,000.
“CH URCH ” — Chu rch with a high vau lt.
“JAZZ” — Jazz club with clearly reflected sou nd s.
“STADIUM ” — Ou td oor stad ium with a cap acity of abou t
30,000.

“NEWS” — “Voice-only ” typ e of sou nd with a limited au dio
band .
To deactivate the DSP featu re, press the “DSP” bu tton again.
Radio Antenna
The rad io antenna is mounted on the front passenger sid e
qu arter panel of the vehicle. It is a fixed mast antenna and can
not be retracted .
Power Antenna (If equipped)
If you r vehicle is equ ipped with a pow er antenna, it will
au tom atically be extend ed when the rad io is tu rned on. When
the rad io is tu rned off, it will au tom atically be retracted .
NOTE: The rad io must be turned off so that the anten na will
retract prior to enterin g a car wash . Failu re to retract
the anten na could resu lt in damage to the anten na,
anten na base, or veh icle.
