Select a band , then select a frequ ency.
Press one of the memory bu ttons and hold until the sou nd
retu rns and the lam p above the memory bu tton lights up.
That memory bu tton is now set.

Follow the above step s for each memory preset bu tton.
Using the Automatic Memory Store feature
(“AUTOSET”)
If the memory bu ttons have been set, either by using the Au to
Mem ory Load featu re or if you have set them manu ally, the
system is prep ared to let you use a convenient featu re called
Au tom atic Mem ory Store.
With Au to Mem ory Store, you can continu ally set strong
stations into you r memory bu ttons withou t losing you r
originally set stations. Your rad io will au tom atically set you r
memory bu ttons to the strong local stations.
Activate Au to Mem ory Store by pushing the “AUTOSET ”
bu tton once. Your rad io will set the first six strong stations of
the band you are in (AM, FM1 or FM2) into the memory
bu ttons. The display will flash “AUTO ” and display the au toset
icon “A” while the stations are being set in the memory
bu ttons.
NOTE: If there are less than six stron g station s in the
freq uency band, the rem ain ing unfilled button s will
store the last stron g station detected on the band.
After all station s have been filled , the rad io will begin
playin g the station stored on memory button 1.
To deactivate the Au to Mem ory Store mod e and retu rn to the
manu ally-set memory bu tton stations, sim ply push the
“
AUTOSET ” bu tton. Disp lay will show “AUTO ” then “OFF”.
The next tim e Au to Mem ory Store is activated on that band , the
rad io will store the next set of six strong stations.
