Make sure that all rep lacem ent tires are of the sam e size,
typ e, load -carryin g capacity, and tread design (e.g. “All
Terrain ”, etc.), as origin ally offered by Ford .
RWARN ING
Do not rep lace you r tires with “high perform ance” tires,
or larger size tires. Do not use P235/75R15 “All Season ”
tires. P235/75R15 “All Terrain ” tires are accep tab le.
RWARN ING
Do not use P255/70R16 tires on 2 door 4x2 model. The
P255/70R16 “All Terrain ” tires are accep tab le only on the
2
door 4x4, 4 door 4x2, and 4 door 4x4 models.

Failu re to follow these precau tion s may adversely affect
the handlin g of the veh icle and make it easier to lose
control and roll over.
Tires that are larger or smaller than you r vehicle’s original tires
may also affect the accu racy of you r speed om eter.
