S (Pan el and Floor)
Select S to direct airflow to the floor and throu gh the
instru ment panel registers at the sam e tim e. This selection can
be used to either heat or cool you r vehicle. The air cond itioner
will operate to cool the air if the ou tsid e tem peratu re is abou t
50˚F
(10˚C) or warm er.
R (Floor)
Select R to direct air to the floor. The air cannot be cooled in
the R position bu t can be heated by rotating the tem peratu re
knob into the red area.
P (Floor and Defrost)
Select P to direct air to the floor and wind shield defrosters at
the sam e tim e. If the outsid e tem peratu re is abou t 50˚F (10˚C)
or warm er, the air will also be dehu midified to rem ove
moistu re. This featu re will help prevent fogging in hu mid
weather. The air can be cooled or heated .
V
(Defrost)
Select V to obtain maxim um airflow to the wind shield . Rotate
the tem peratu re knob into the red area for the air tem peratu re
requ ired to defrost. When the ou tsid e tem peratu re is abou t 50˚F
(10˚C)
or warm er, the air will be dehu midified to rem ove
moistu re. Rotate the H knob to increase the airflow .
