Fan speed adjustment

The
controls the volu me of air flow . Rotate the
(left) knob on the control is the fan control knob which
knob to the right

to increase fan speed and increase the am ount of air entering
the vehicle. Four fan speed positions are available and are
ind icated by dots besid e the H control knob. The largest dot is
high speed position.
Airflow selections
Q (Pan el)
Use Q to bring ou tsid e air throu gh the instru ment panel
registers. You can heat the air in this position by rotating the
tem peratu re knob into the red area. The air CAN NOT be cooled
below the ou tsid e tem peratu re regard less of the tem peratu re
knob setting. Select A/ C or MAX A/ C to get cool air throu gh
the instru ment panel registers.
A/C
Select A/ C to get refrigerated ou tsid e air throu gh the
instru ment panel registers. The A/ C position is used for cooling
excep t when it is extrem ely hot or fast cooling of the vehicle is
need ed. Then, select MAX A/ C for fast cooling and retu rn to
A/ C when you are com fortable.
MAX A/C
The MAX A/ C position prod uces cool air more rap idly to
provid e faster cooling of you r vehicle. This is possible becau se
cooler air is draw n from insid e the passenger area and
refrigerated again instead of using warm er ou tsid e air. Using
insid e air will also make the fan sou nd lou der and is norm al
when using MAX A/ C. The air flow will be from the
instru ment panel registers.
